Steam-Nutzer in Deutschland können sich seit heute Nacht nicht mehr einloggen. Laut offizieller Mitteilung in den Steam-Foren ist das Problem bekannt. Die Techniker arbeiten an einer Lösung. Solange sind die Server nicht zu erreichen. Der Offline-Modus wird vom Interface nicht angeboten, entsprechend bleiben Steam-Spiele aus.

Steam ist offline. Die Server sind derzeit von Deutschland aus nicht zu erreichen, so wie angeblich in einigen Teilen der USA. Valve ist das Problem bekannt, eine entsprechende Mitteilung findet sich in den offiziellen Foren: "Wir haben zur Zeit einige Probleme mit Verbindungen in Deutschland. Wir arbeiten bereits an einer Lösung. Bitte habt etwas Geduld." Das Problem besteht laut diversen Beschwerde-Threads auf steampowered.com – der offiziellen Webseite des Download- und Spieleportals von Valve – seit heute Nacht.

Es ist unbekannt, wann Steam wieder online geht. Ärgerlicherweise lässt sich auch der Offline-Modus nicht aufrufen. Ein entsprechender Test in der Redaktion führte zu einer Fehlermeldung: "Keine Verbindung zum Steam-Netzwerk möglich. Dies könnte an einem Problem mit Ihrer Internet-Verbindung oder mit dem Steam-Netzwerk liegen. Bitte besuchen Sie www.steampowered.com, um weitere Informationen zu erhalten." Das Problem liegt offenbar am Netzwerk, nicht an eurer Internetverbindung.

Folge des Ganzen: Steam-Spiele wie diverse Call of Duty-Ableger, Spiele der Total War-Reihe, Fallout: New Vegas, Counter-Strike: Source und alle anderen Titel, die Steam voraussetzen, lassen sich nicht spielen: weder online noch offline.
