Got banned by A-M-O-K tonight, 10 minutes ago, on the Hardcore Arena WaW SD server for some reason I do not know. He asked my how I knew german, I answer jokingly (and in broken german) that I can only write a little, but can understand all. Then I got banned. Poof, zapped. I played as I have always played on the GST servers since WaW came out. Nice and fair, and never causing any trouble to anyone. Indeed quite the opposite. I've always been nice, always been a teamplayer and always spread some good natured humour around. Though, A-M-O-K had been riding my ass ever since I got a great score on the Subpens (corrotion) map earlier in the evening. Telling me I should play SD, obviously annoyed that I have a great tactic for that map. I was indeed playing SD, defending very well, and in attack rushing even better. Which is why I got the great score to begin with. A bit later, I asked why we were back on the map Castle, since we played it just 3 maps ago. He was then very brisk with me. Essentially telling me to fuck off, but not in those words. I answered back very politely that "It's no problem. I just like some variation. Castle is one of my favourites". But I guess, he had in in for me at that point already. I have been a (norwegian) clanplayer for 5 years (bf42, bfv, bf2, cod4, in the clans dsr and GfC), been admin in european bf2 league (EB2L) and nordic bfv league (NBVL), and not least adminned our clanservers. I have never banned anyone for annoying me, just for cheating or not following rules. I've never broken any rule on neither your vanilla WaW SD server, or the hardcore WaW SD server. 99.99% of my playtime in WaW have been on your excellent SD servers. I hate seeing such a good relationship being ruined by essentially one admin who might not have been in his best mood. I request you lift my ban and perhaps tell A-M-O-K that it is not ok to ban people willy nilly just because he feel like it or is drunk or whatever. It do not reflect well on your clan. I am an adult of some 37 years, and know how to play by the rules. I just ask you tell your server admin A-M-O-K to do the same. I am sure you got some guidelines on how to admin your servers. Apart from that, have a nice evening. I will, still got plenty beer left  Oh, and my nick ingame is zylark, just as on here. I am sure you can find me in your logs. Any questions, and you can mail me or ask here. edit: come to think of it, I think A-M-O-K banned quite the few people tonight for very little if any reason. Is this normal? Für einen 37 jährigen gehört es sich erst recht nicht andere Leute zu beschimpfen und zu provozieren.Der spielt das erste Mal auf unserem Server und benimmt sich seit der ersten Minute schon assozial.Jeder Progamer (wie er es gerne sein würde) weiß, das wenn man einen Server den man vorher noch nie gespielt hat, gleich nach den Rules fragt. Wenn ich doch einmal verwarnt werde und dann gekickt werde, spätestens dann, MUSS ich doch merken das ich was falsch mache! aber nein ich muss gleich denn Admin provozieren und beleidigen.Jeder der mich auf dem Server kennt weiß, das ich einfach nur spielen möchte und ungern Leute kicke, aber manche müssen den Harten Kerl markieren. |

This is all just some big misunderstanding. While true I have not played long on your hardcore SD server, I have played for a very long time on your Vanilla SD server. Only reason I started playing on your HC server, is because no-one is playing anymore on on vanilla. http://cod5stats.gst-team.com/players-detail.php?id=1701930111 And despite accusations, I did not insult anyone the night I got banned. Again. Go through the chatlogs of the session (Thursday about 2100-0100). The logs will prove me right. Only thing I am guilty of is bad german grammar and some friendly banter. And I certainly did not insult polaks or any other nationality. Just look at the logs. But I guess you've circled your wagons around amok. He must be right, because he is in your clan, and I must be wrong because I am not. I know how this works. So I can only wish you and your clan well in the future, it's been a fun good run on your SD servers the last year or so. Just a shame it hand to end like this. |
