Nvidia will den Nutzern von Geforce-Grafikkarten eine einfache Möglichkeit bieten, die für ihr System perfekten Einstellungen zu nutzen.

Im Rahmen der Vorstellung der neuen Nvidia Geforce GTX 690 hat CEO Jen-Hsun Huang auch das neue Projekt »Geforce Experience« angekündigt. Der Vorteil von Konsolen, immer die richtigen Grafikeinstellungen für ein Spiel zu nutzen, soll damit auch auf PCs möglich werden.

Da PCs aber nicht wie Konsolen auf einer einzigen Hardware-Konfiguration basieren, will Nvidia Cloud-Computing nutzen, um die schier unübersichtliche Menge an möglichen PC-Systemen zusammen mit Spielinformationen und deren Anforderungen abzuspeichern.

Eine kleine Applikation analysiert das eigene System und findet auf den Nvidia-Servern dann die optimale Einstellung für jedes Spiel. Längeres Feilen an den Einstellungen für ein Spiel ist damit nicht mehr nötig, allerdings natürlich trotzdem noch möglich. Nvidia will im Juni eine erste Beta-Version von Geforce Experience veröffentlichen.
