Seit Jahren bemühen sich Entwickler um eine möglichst realistische Physik in Videospielen. Die Ergebnisse sind nicht immer gelungen: In einigen Fällen verwandelten sich Fahrzeuge wie von Geisterhand in pfeilschnelle Wurfgeschosse oder Charaktere zuckten am ganzen Körper. Wir zeigen euch in unserem heutigen Special zehn der wohl witzigsten Physik-Fails aus Computer- und Videospielen. Reinschauen lohnt sich!

Die Szene ging um die Welt: Zwei Kicker lagen sich in FIFA 12 nach einem Zusammenstoß in den Armen und gaben sich anschließend einen herzlichen Kuss. Ein Video, das diesen kuriosen Augenblick festhält, brachte es allein auf YouTube auf über drei Millionen Klicks. Electronic Arts konnte über die liebenden Fußballer vermutlich nicht so toll lachen, warf die Szene doch ein schlechtes Licht auf die Impact-Engine. Das nagelneue Kollisionssystem sollte den virtuellen Kampf um die Fußballkrone noch authentischer gestalten, funktionierte allerdings nicht immer nach Plan der Entwickler. Schon bald fanden sich Nachahmer-Videos mit weiteren Physik-Fails im Netz.

Schön anzusehen sind solche Patzer zwar nicht, schließlich stören die Immersion, also das Abtauchen in eine virtuelle Spielwelt. Mit einer gesunden Distanz lässt es sich über solche Pannen aber herzlich gut lachen.
